Five years ago today, I lost the first love of my life...my daddy. I've been thinking about him so much lately now that we have Lily...his first grandchild. I think about what an amazing grandpa he would have been to her and all of the fun they would have had together. I think about how she will never know him the way I did. But his memory will continue to live on through me. She will hear the stories I have stored away and all of the wonderful memories I have. I miss you daddy...but you will continue to live on through your beautiful granddaughter.
