Five years ago today, I lost the first love of my life...my daddy. I've been thinking about him so much lately now that we have Lily...his first grandchild. I think about what an amazing grandpa he would have been to her and all of the fun they would have had together. I think about how she will never know him the way I did. But his memory will continue to live on through me. She will hear the stories I have stored away and all of the wonderful memories I have. I miss you daddy...but you will continue to live on through your beautiful granddaughter.

This is a lovely tribute to your dear Dad. He's the only man that I ever thought of as my other Dad, for good reason. I, too, have been thinking a lot about him, (and you) since Lily has graced our lives. He will always live on in our hearts and Lily will know through you and all of us what a wonderful Grandpa she had. Our Dads are both sending Lily all their love...
